Our consultation to date
In October 2024, we launched a consultation to better understand how local people view Allianz Stadium and experience event days. This built on our ongoing work with residents to understand concerns and reduce the impact of events on the local area.
The feedback confirmed that, while many people are generally satisfied with how event days are managed, there are still concerns about traffic, pressure on local transport services, noise and anti-social behaviour. It also highlighted that the stadium does not currently provide enough tangible benefits for the local community, with some residents not feeling the sense of pride or ownership we want Allianz Stadium to inspire.
In March 2025, we returned to the community to share more detail on our proposal. You can review feedback from that phase below.
During the Autumn Nations Series in November 2025, the RFU also carried out a comprehensive audit of matchday operations in the local area. This was designed to gather more detailed local feedback and identify where further improvements could be made. Around one in five households in the neighbouring streets took part, providing valuable insight into local views and experiences.
On 27 January 2026, we hosted a residents’ drop-in event at Allianz Stadium, giving neighbours the opportunity to view and discuss the audit findings, speak directly with the RFU team, and hear more about what we learned and the proposed next steps. You can view the information displayed at the event below and read a summary of the residents’ audit findings here.
This is not the end of the conversation. We remain committed to working closely with our neighbours and welcome any further feedback, questions or suggestions on how we can continue to improve the matchday experience.
